Job Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Supervisor at CAMBRIDGER, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks aimed at optimizing workflow, enhancing productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Supervision: Lead and inspire warehouse staff by assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting regular performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment rooted in teamwork and effective communication.
- Shift Management and Scheduling: Coordinate work shifts to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity levels. Utilize your organizational skills to streamline scheduling processes and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, oversee proper stock rotation practices, and conduct routine physical inventory counts. Collaborate closely with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels based on demand forecasts.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to enhance workflow and minimize errors. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation to drive operational excellence.
- Safety and Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and prioritize the well-being of warehouse personnel at all times.
- Shipping and Receiving Coordination: Oversee shipping and receiving activities, verify shipments for accuracy, and liaise with logistics partners to facilitate seamless operations. Take ownership of equipment maintenance and repair initiatives to uphold operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Advance Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), strong organizational abilities, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
