Position Overview: As the Manager of Mechanical Maintenance Denim, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems within our denim manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing maintenance activities, leading a team of technicians, and implementing strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to uphold equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline maintenance processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the textile or garment industry.
- Strong technical acumen with expertise in troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Sound knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical maintenance.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
