Supply Chain Cost Controller – Lahore

Position: Supply Chain Cost Controller Company: StarchPack Pvt. Ltd. Location: Kasur/Lahore (90/10-time ratio)

Key Accountabilities: As a Supply Chain Cost Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring cost optimization initiatives within the supply chain. Reporting directly to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:

1. Cost Optimization: Act as a business partner for the supply chain, driving initiatives to optimize costs effectively.
2. Procurement Controls: Ensure robust controls for corn procurement from PR (Purchase Request) till payment, including computation of commercial yield.
3. Working Capital Management: Arrange financing for corn procurement and manage the overall working capital cycle efficiently.
4. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and operations departments, including QA (Quality Assurance), to establish strong controls and implement the management strategy for corn procurement.
5. Budget Compilation: Coordinate with all departments for compiling the annual capex budget.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

• CA Finalist/ACCA/ACMA with 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting. Additional experience in procurement and/or financing will be preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and computer literacy.
• Ability to handle complex data and assess potential risks collaboratively.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and controlling.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
