The hospital is expanding and looking to hire a Supervisor Mini Mart to oversee the operations of their hospital kitchen and patient meal services at the Keamari Campus.
Job Overview
The Supervisor Mini Mart will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, with a particular focus on managing the patient meal services. This includes supervising staff, handling complaints, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate meals, and maintaining high hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision: Arrange and manage sufficient staff to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle and resolve any complaints from patients regarding meals or food quality.
- Menu Management: Oversee the preparation of patient meals, ensuring that meals are served on time and meet quality standards.
- Stock Control: Manage stock levels, perform stock takes, and order necessary supplies for the kitchen and mini-mart.
- Other Tasks: Execute additional assignments as directed by the management, ensuring all operations run efficiently.
Required Knowledge & Competencies
- Hygiene Standards: Strong knowledge of hygiene standards in food preparation and service.
- Customer Interaction: Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff, addressing concerns effectively.
- Team Player: Must be a good planner, negotiator, and able to manage time and resources effectively.
- Problem Solving: Ability to resolve issues and manage conflicts in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience
- Academic Qualification: Minimum Intermediate education, preference for a B.Com or Hotel Management Diploma.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a reputed hospital, hotel, or restaurant industry (hospital experience preferred).
