Job Summary:

The Audiologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations, recommending and fitting hearing aids, and providing hearing rehabilitation and counseling to patients. The role involves collaborating with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care to patients with hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Audiological Evaluations: Perform diagnostic tests such as pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, OAE, and BERA to assess hearing ability.
• Recommend and Fit Hearing Aids: Provide recommendations and ensure the fitting of appropriate hearing aids and other assistive devices.
• Patient Care and Counseling: Offer hearing rehabilitation services and provide counseling to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate patient records and audiological data for proper tracking of treatment and progress.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with ENT consultants, speech therapists, and other healthcare providers for integrated patient care.
• Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach programs, including hearing screening programs to raise awareness and assist those in need.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all audiological equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate assessments.

Requirements:

• Academic Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology (BSc/MSc Audiology).
• Professional Qualification:
  • Valid license or registration with the relevant health authority.
• Work Experience:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Knowledge and Competencies:

• Hearing Aid Technology:
  • In-depth knowledge of hearing aid technology and fitting software.
• Audiometric Testing Skills:
  • Proficiency in conducting audiometric tests and interpreting results.
• Patient-Centered Approach:
