Position: Section In Charge PD CAD
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As the Section In Charge PD CAD at Crescent Bahuman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient development of CAD patterns for our cutting and sewing teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Samples Shrinkage Trials: Execute trials to determine garment shrinkage, conducting calculations, and ensuring accuracy in measurements.
- CAD Pattern Development: Develop CAD patterns in a timely manner, aligning with sampling priorities and production planning.
- Sample Marker Preparation: Prepare sample markers in line with production requirements, optimizing fabric usage and minimizing wastage.
- Shrinkage Allowances: Calculate shrinkage allowances and collaborate with the specifications team to prepare before wash measurement charts.
- Pattern Handover: Transfer approved patterns to the production CAD team, ensuring accurate nesting and grading for efficient production.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Education: Graduation or Diploma in Garment Pattern Making.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Denim Apparel.
- Skills: Proficiency in pattern making, knowledge of garment and fabric shrinkages, understanding of fit and shapes, and strong data analysis skills.
