Job Overview:
Utopia Industries (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer – Cookware (Sheet Metal) to join our dynamic team. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supervising our sheet metal manufacturing processes, ensuring top-notch product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Production Engineer – Cookware (Sheet Metal), your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing manufacturing operations related to cookware production, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
- Upholding the highest standards of product quality while prioritizing safety in all production activities. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
- Proactively identifying and addressing any unsafe practices or conditions in the production environment. Documenting incidents and reporting them to the appropriate channels for corrective action.
- Monitoring production metrics, including machine parameters and resource utilization. Generating regular reports on production performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implementing and sustaining the 5S methodology to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production role, with a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety guidelines effectively in the workplace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor and improve production processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and report production data effectively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments to achieve production goals.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and priorities.
- Ability to lead production staff effectively.
