Position Overview:
As the Group Head-Digital Banking, you will lead the digital transformation initiatives of Al Baraka Bank Pakistan. Your primary focus will be on revamping our digital banking services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, streamline processes, and optimize the digital customer journey.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the bank’s overall objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative digital banking solutions, including mobile banking, online banking, and digital payment services.
- Identify emerging technologies and trends in the digital banking landscape and assess their potential impact on the bank’s operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and optimize the digital customer journey.
- Oversee the development of digital marketing initiatives to promote digital banking products and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to digital banking operations.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the banking industry, with a focus on digital banking and technology-driven initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation projects and driving innovation in the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of digital banking technologies and the latest trends in Pakistan and globally.
- Strategic thinker with a forward-thinking mindset and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience.
