Lucky Motor Corporation Limited, a leading automobile manufacturing company, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Payroll / Analyst Associate. As a Payroll / Analyst Associate, you will play a vital role in managing payroll processes and providing analytical support to the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records, including attendance, leaves, deductions, and benefits.
- Calculate and verify overtime, bonuses, allowances, and other payroll-related components.
- Prepare payroll reports, statements, and summaries for review and distribution.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee information and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Stay updated with payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the analysis of payroll data, identifying trends and patterns to provide insights for cost control and process improvements.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to payroll expenses.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate recording of payroll transactions in the general ledger.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, deductions, and other payroll-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other payroll software.
- Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements in Pakistan.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus.
- Previous experience or internships in payroll or finance roles is preferred but not required.
