Position: Assistant Manager Production (Plastic) Location: Utopia Industries (Pvt) Ltd, Unit 04, SITE Phase 2, M-9, Karachi, Sindh 75850 Workdays: Monday to Saturday Timings: 09 AM TO 06 PM

Job Overview: As an Assistant Manager Production (Plastic) at Utopia Industries, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes, ensuring high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations. From setting production targets to managing resources and enforcing safety protocols, this role offers a diverse set of responsibilities for someone ready to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Supervision:
   • Plan, organize, and supervise the entire production process of velvet hangers, from raw materials to finished products.
   • Set production targets, schedules, and priorities to meet demand.
2. Quality Control:
   • Conduct regular inspections of finished products and initiate corrective actions as needed.
3. Resource Allocation:
   • Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, machinery, and materials, to meet production goals.
   • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for a steady supply of raw materials.
4. Maintenance and Safety:
   • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs of production machinery to minimize downtime.
   • Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
5. Budget Management and Reporting:
   • Monitor and manage the production budget.
   • Maintain accurate production records and generate regular reports for management.
6. Team Development:
   • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and facilitate team development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering/Polymer Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in plastic production.
• In-depth knowledge of polymer materials, their properties, and applications.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a production team.
