Job Overview
As an Assistant Manager Audit, you will play a critical role in conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Your responsibilities will include assisting in departmental activities, providing advisory services, conducting training workshops, and ensuring business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits in line with the annual approved audit plan, evaluating internal control effectiveness.
- Identify process improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist the General Manager Corporate Audit in departmental activities.
- Provide advisory and consultancy services as needed.
- Conduct training workshops on ethics and business controls.
- Act as the Business Continuity Champion for the department.
- Liaise with auditees to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Identify key risks within the organization and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation of audit-related work.
- Support whistle-blower investigations and steward departmental budget.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) qualification.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant audit experience.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and audit methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
