As a Transport Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating transportation operations to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of passengers and cargo. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the aviation industry and logistics management.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage transportation services for passengers and cargo.
- Monitor and track transportation schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in managing transportation resources, including vehicles and drivers.
- Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including fuel consumption, maintenance, and expenses.
- Resolve transportation-related issues and customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in transportation and logistics management.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and propose solutions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications related to transportation management.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to work in Islamabad, Pakistan on a full-time and permanent basis.
