About the Role
The IAM Controller will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide identity and access management systems. This role ensures secure access to banking systems, protects sensitive data, and enforces strong cybersecurity policies across the organization.
The position plays a critical role in implementing Zero Trust security principles and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management Operations
- Manage enterprise identity lifecycle processes (user provisioning and de-provisioning)
- Ensure secure authentication and authorization across banking systems
- Oversee access control policies and enforcement
Security Infrastructure Management
- Work with directory services and identity platforms
- Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Federation, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions
Cybersecurity Framework Implementation
- Apply IAM frameworks aligned with industry best practices
- Support Zero Trust security architecture implementation
- Ensure compliance with IT governance and cybersecurity standards
Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify and mitigate access-related security risks
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal audit requirements
- Support security audits and assessments
System Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor identity systems for anomalies and vulnerabilities
- Improve IAM processes for efficiency and security
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams for continuous improvement
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements
Candidates must hold one of the following degrees:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Cybersecurity or related technical field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cybersecurity
- IT governance or enterprise security systems
Required Technical Expertise
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in:
- Directory Services (e.g., Active Directory)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools
- Single Sign-On (SSO) systems
- Federation technologies
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions
- IAM frameworks and governance models
- Zero Trust security principles
Certifications (Preferred)
Additional professional certifications will be considered an advantage:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
- IAM-specific certifications
