Job Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and financial transactions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA) is preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
