Job Overview:

Are you a results-oriented, self-driven professional with a passion for innovation and excellence? Utopia Industries (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead and enhance our surgical, dental, and beauty instruments manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for driving new product development, machinery procurement, and the development of a skilled production team, all while maintaining high production standards. Your primary mission is to ensure cost-effective and efficient production that aligns with customer demands, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Research & Development team to innovate and create new products.
• Develop and execute product development plans in line with company objectives.
• Ensure that new products meet quality and regulatory standards through comprehensive testing and compliance with industry guidelines.
• Identify machinery requirements, assess potential suppliers, and manage the procurement process from selection to installation.
• Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet customer demands and production targets.
• Implement process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, improve product quality, optimize production costs, and maximize profitability.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials, labor, and equipment to meet production goals.
• Provide supervision and training to production staff, ensuring competence in their roles.
• Establish and uphold safety standards for all production activities, including employee training.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as sales, engineering, and procurement.
• Monitor production metrics and data, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and select suppliers for raw materials and components, negotiating pricing and agreements.
• Manage inventory levels for raw materials and finished products.
• Develop procedures for shipping, receiving, and production performance tracking.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production team.
• Create and maintain production budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with production operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, metallurgical, materials engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in leading surgical, dental, and beauty instruments manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Technical skills in CAD/CAM software, MATLAB, and MS Office.
