Position Details:

• Department: Information Security
• Position Title: Incident Response Specialist
• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Security certifications such as Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in incident response tools and techniques including SIEM platforms, WAF, XDR/EDR, forensic tools, and malware analysis.
• Experience:
  • At least 1-3 years of experience with a focus on incident response and forensics.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Incident Response Specialist at Soneri Bank, your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively monitoring systems and networks for security incidents.
• Analyzing security events to identify potential threats and assess their impact.
• Leading and coordinating response efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Developing and executing incident response playbooks to mitigate security breaches and minimize downtime.
• Conducting forensic analysis to determine the root cause of security events.
• Collecting and analyzing digital evidence to support investigations.
• Implementing corrective actions to address security vulnerabilities and prevent future incidents.
• Leveraging threat intelligence sources to enhance incident detection and response.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of security incidents, including timelines, findings, and remediation actions.
• Preparing incident response reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
