About Us: Sapphire Fibres Limited is a leading name in the industry, dedicated to sustainability, safety, and responsible practices. We are currently seeking a Sustainability Specialist to join our team at the Corporate Office in Lahore.
Qualification and Experience:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial, Chemical, or Environmental discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in sustainability, safety, and environmental management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting safety, sustainability, and responsible practices.
Role:
As a Sustainability Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular Health & Safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Assisting in the follow-up and completion of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements to create a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Coordinating with plant teams on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) audits, working towards continuous improvement and compliance.
- Actively participating in the implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS) across the SFL Group, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Supporting safety training and awareness programs to ensure that our employees are well-informed and prepared to work safely.
- Managing and presenting a Safety Statistics Dashboard, providing data-driven insights for decision-making and transparency.
- Participating in EHS steering committee meetings, actively contributing to our sustainability and safety strategies.
- Leading our Housekeeping campaign to maintain a clean and safe workplace, promoting safety and sustainability.
- Monitoring and reporting on energy and water consumption, supporting our sustainability goals.
