Key Responsibilities: As a Foreign Trade Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing international trade transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service. Here’s a closer look at the key responsibilities associated with this role:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, FE Manual, SBP Regulations, and other regulatory requirements, including Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML) regulations and Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) processes.
- Trade Rules Mastery: Demonstrate an excellent understanding of international trade rules, including UCP 600, URC 522, and other ICC trade rules.
- Document Management: Manage document scrutiny for Letter of Credit (LC), Collection, Open Accounts, and Advance Payments. Proficient in LC issuance with SWIFT trade functionality.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, addressing challenges and complexities in foreign trade transactions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Utilize effective interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
