About Qarshi Industries
Qarshi Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. is a Pakistani FMCG company operating across herbal and natural medicine, food, and beverage categories. The organization emphasizes quality, innovation, and long-term business development.

What Does the DM HR Operations Role Involve?
The DM HR Operations position is primarily an operational HR role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that important employee processes—from monthly payroll and statutory contributions to disciplinary procedures and insurance claims—are handled accurately and on time.
The role requires both strong HR administration capabilities and knowledge of Pakistan’s employment-related compliance requirements.
Payroll Processing and SAP HCM
A major responsibility will be end-to-end monthly payroll processing.
The selected candidate will also work with SAP and SAP HCM (Human Capital Management). This makes practical experience with HR information systems particularly valuable.
Candidates should ideally be comfortable handling employee payroll data, salary adjustments, deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related records while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Performance Appraisals and Salary Revisions
The DM HR Operations will coordinate employee performance appraisal cycles and support compensation-related processes.
Responsibilities include preparing increment working sheets and issuing salary revision letters following approved changes.
This requires coordination between HR, management, payroll, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure approved increments and revisions are properly documented and implemented.
Labour Matters and Disciplinary Proceedings
The role includes responsibility for handling labour court matters, domestic inquiries, and disciplinary proceedings.
Candidates should therefore have practical understanding of employee relations, workplace disciplinary processes, documentation, and applicable labour regulations.
The selected professional will also liaise with the Labour Department regarding regulatory compliance and inspections.
EOBI and PESSI Management
Statutory employee benefits and contributions form another important part of the position.
The DM HR Operations will handle monthly EOBI and PESSI contributions and challan submissions, as well as employee registrations and claims management.
Experience dealing directly with these processes can be a significant advantage because they require accurate records, timely submissions, and coordination with relevant authorities.
Group Insurance and Medical Claims
The position also covers employee benefits administration, including group insurance enrollment, medical claims processing, and insurance policy renewals.
The HR professional will need to maintain employee records, coordinate claims, manage enrollment changes, and ensure policies are renewed according to organizational requirements.
Internal HR Communication
The selected candidate will also support internal communication by drafting formal HR documentation such as:
- Office orders
- HR circulars
- Employee announcements
- Salary revision letters
- Other official HR communications
Strong professional writing and documentation skills will therefore be useful for the position.
Qualification Requirements
Applicants should possess an MBA or BBA with specialization in Human Resources.
Professional HR certifications such as SHRM or CIPD will be preferred. These certifications are not presented as mandatory in the vacancy but may strengthen the profile of an applicant.
Experience Requirements
Qarshi Industries is seeking candidates with approximately 5–7 years of HR Operations experience.
Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred. Candidates from these environments may already be familiar with plant-based HR operations, workforce administration, labour compliance, statutory contributions, and employee relations.
Skills Relevant to This Position
Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience in payroll processing, SAP HCM, performance appraisal administration, compensation revisions, employee relations, labour-law compliance, EOBI and PESSI, insurance administration, medical claims, and HR documentation.
Because several responsibilities involve government departments and formal employee processes, attention to detail, confidentiality, record management, and professional communication are also important.
Who Should Consider This Role?
This opportunity is particularly relevant to HR professionals currently working in positions such as HR Operations Manager, Deputy Manager HR, Assistant Manager HR, Payroll & Benefits Manager, HR Generalist, or Employee Relations professional.
Candidates with plant or manufacturing HR experience may be especially relevant because the responsibilities combine corporate HR processes with labour and statutory compliance.
How to Strengthen Your CV
Applicants should tailor their CV to demonstrate direct experience with the responsibilities mentioned in the vacancy. Instead of simply stating “managed HR operations,” candidates can highlight specific responsibilities and measurable achievements.
For example, they can mention the number of employees whose payroll they managed, SAP HCM modules used, appraisal cycles coordinated, EOBI/PESSI processes handled, labour cases managed, insurance claims processed, or improvements made to payroll accuracy and HR processes.
SHRM, CIPD, SAP HCM, labour-law, payroll, or other relevant certifications and training should also be clearly highlighted.
