Position: Unit Head – Procurement
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Qualification:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institute.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Main Responsibilities: As the Unit Head – Procurement, you will be responsible for:
- Managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with vendors.
- Handling information technology-related procurement.
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Overseeing the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers and analyzing vendor performance.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Bank’s policies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and meet business needs.
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and reports.
Core Competencies:
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
