Essential Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the retail/textile industry.
- Good knowledge of accounting, tax, and audit rules.
Job Scope: As Manager Internal Audit at Eastgate Industries, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing daily audit activities of the internal audit department.
- Reviewing financial statements, general ledgers, and cost centers in SAP.
- Understanding and documenting the current departmental structure through meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Understanding and documenting the roles of individuals working in specific departments.
- Proposing changes to existing departmental structures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Understanding key business processes, conducting data analysis, and performing risk assessments.
- Conducting gap analysis of key business areas and presenting findings, associated risks, and recommendations to executive management.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for specific functions/operations as directed by executive management.
