As a Travel Counselor, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their travel arrangements, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the travel and hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in booking flights, hotels, and other travel services.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, fares, and travel policies.
- Assist in issuing tickets, processing payments, and handling reservation changes.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions to their travel-related concerns.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve customer issues.
- Promote and upsell additional services, such as travel insurance and car rentals.
- Stay updated on airline policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Assist in coordinating group bookings and managing travel itineraries.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain customer records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the travel journey.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of local and international travel destinations.
- Familiarity with airline reservation systems and online booking platforms.
- Proficient in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work in Karachi, Pakistan on a full-time and permanent basis.
