Key Responsibilities:
As a Technical Services Officer at Fatima Group, you will be entrusted with a range of essential duties, including:
- Educating farmers: Providing guidance and support to farmers on modern agricultural technologies and promoting the balanced use of fertilizers to optimize crop yields and sustainability.
- Demo plots: Setting up and managing demonstration plots to evaluate the effectiveness of our products compared to traditional farming practices, demonstrating the benefits firsthand to farmers.
- Seminars: Organizing and facilitating seminars and workshops before the start of each farming season to disseminate information, share best practices, and foster collaboration among agricultural stakeholders.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, with a focus on Soil Sciences or Agronomy.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the agricultural sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of agronomic principles and farming techniques.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with farmers and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to driving positive change in agricultural practices.
