Job Description:
As a Team Lead for Textile Circularity at Alkaram, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our textile recycling operations and inventories. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of textile recycling, from collection and sorting to recycling, storage, and utilization. You will also be responsible for developing and managing programs to promote textile recycling initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee textile recycling operations, including collection, sorting, recycling, storage, and utilization.
- Develop and manage programs to promote textile recycling initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate with production departments within the organization and external vendors and partners, both locally and internationally.
- Track and report recycling metrics to assess the effectiveness of recycling efforts.
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to textile recycling and waste management.
- Conduct market research to explore opportunities for textile recycling and sustainability.
- Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement and facilitate efficient decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation in Supply Chain or Textile Sciences.
- Work Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of textile recycling and sustainability practices.
- Knowledge of yarn spinning processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
