📌 Position Overview: Tax Manager

The Tax Manager will be responsible for ensuring flawless tax compliance, maintaining tax records, leading audits, optimizing ERP tax controls, and supporting various internal teams through training and documentation. 1. Monthly & Annual Tax Compliance

  • File monthly and annual income tax returns.

  • File sales tax returns with complete accuracy.

2. Tax Reconciliations & General Ledger Management

  • Manage input/output tax reconciliations.

  • Ensure accuracy and cleanliness of tax GL accounts.

  • Oversee reconciliations for:

    • Advance tax

    • WHT receivables

    • STR input

    • Sales tax payable

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain complete and updated tax documentation.

  • Manage exemption certificates and validate vendor compliance.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax notices.

4. Audit Support & Coordination

  • Prepare income tax provisions for financial statements.

  • Support external audits for taxation.

  • Ensure accurate tax disclosures in financial reports.

  • Lead internal and external tax audits.

  • Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities when needed.

5. SOP Development & Process Optimization

  • Develop and implement SOPs for WHT and sales tax processes.

  • Strengthen tax controls through ERP/system configurations.

  • Identify gaps in current processes and recommend improvements.

6. Internal Training & Collaboration

  • Conduct tax training sessions for:

    • Finance Team

    • Procurement Team

    • Sales Team

📚 Educational Qualifications

One of the following is mandatory:

  • CA (Inter)

  • ACCA

  • MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution
