Position Details:
- Department: Information Security
- Position Title: System Security Engineer
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Security certifications such as CompTIA+ will be preferred.
- Good experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Experience:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
As a System Security Engineer at Soneri Bank, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, executing, and monitoring security measures to protect information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.
- Designing server and endpoint security strategies and engineering comprehensive cybersecurity architectures.
- Identifying, defining, and documenting system security requirements and recommending solutions to management.
- Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining security infrastructure.
- Installing software to monitor systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
- Monitoring systems for irregular behavior and implementing preventive measures.
- Preparing detailed reports, including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
