Supply Chain Cost Controller

Position: Supply Chain Cost Controller Company: StarchPack Pvt. Ltd Reporting to: CFO

Key Accountabilities: As a Supply Chain Cost Controller at StarchPack, you will be instrumental in managing the financial aspects of corn procurement, cost optimization, and overall supply chain efficiency. Your responsibilities include:

1. Cost Optimization: Act as a business partner for the supply chain, driving initiatives to optimize costs and improve overall efficiency.
2. Procurement Controls: Ensure strong controls for corn procurement from the requisition stage to payment. Compute the commercial yield of the corn procured for accurate financial assessments.
3. Working Capital Management: Arrange financing for corn procurement and manage the overall working capital cycle, contributing to financial stability.
4. Coordination and Controls: Collaborate with procurement and operations departments, including Quality Assurance, to develop robust controls and implement management strategies for corn procurement.
5. Budgeting and Planning: Coordinate with all departments to compile the annual capital expenditure (capex) budget, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

• CA Finalist/ACCA/ACMA qualifications.
• 2-3 years of experience in Financial Accounting, with additional expertise in procurement and/or financing being preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP & Computer Literacy.
• Ability to handle complex data and assess potential risks.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial planning & budgeting, including controlling.
