BEECHTREE | PEPPERLAND, a leading fashion retail company, is seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Sketch Maker. As a Sketch Maker, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our fashion products. This is an exciting opportunity for entry-level professionals with a passion for fashion and a knack for sketching.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to understand and interpret their design concepts.
- Create detailed and accurate sketches of fashion designs using both traditional and digital tools.
- Ensure that the sketches capture the essence and vision of the design concepts.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions from the design team to refine the sketches.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that the final product reflects the original design.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, colors, and patterns to inform your sketching process.
- Maintain organized records of sketches and design iterations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings and specifications for production purposes.
- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new design ideas.
- Contribute to the overall creative process and provide input on design decisions.
- Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Strong sketching and drawing skills, with an eye for detail and proportion.
- Proficiency in both traditional and digital sketching tools.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, garment construction, and fabric types.
- Strong creativity and ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
- Ability to work in Lahore, Pakistan on a full-time and permanent basis.
