Position: Sign Language Interpreter
As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between deaf and mute employees and their colleagues and management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sign Language Interpretation: Providing sign language interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and daily work activities to ensure effective communication.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrating a deep understanding of deaf culture and promoting respect for diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Training and Development: Assisting in the development of training programs and resources to enhance sign language proficiency among employees.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with the HR department to create a supportive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in sign language interpretation is preferred.
- Education: Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and signed.
- Understanding of deaf culture and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Prior experience as a sign language interpreter is preferred but not mandatory.
