If so, Cambridge has an exciting opportunity for you as a Quality Control Officer (Garments) based in Gajju Matah, Lahore.
Responsibilities Overview:
As a Quality Control Officer (Garments) at Cambridge, your primary responsibility is to uphold quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Conducting Inspections: You will conduct comprehensive quality control inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process. This involves meticulously examining garments to ensure they meet specified quality standards and specifications.
- Collaboration with Production Teams: Collaboration is key in troubleshooting issues and developing efficient process flows. You’ll work closely with production teams to address any quality-related concerns and streamline operations.
- Implementing Inspections: You will be responsible for implementing various inspection procedures to maintain consistency and adherence to quality standards. This includes verifying prints, embroidery, and accessories against approved swatches.
- Leading Pre-Production Meetings: Leading pre-production meetings, you will ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with quality procedures and expectations, setting the stage for successful manufacturing runs.
- Performing Final Inspections: Prior to finalizing production, you’ll conduct pre-final and final inspections to guarantee that every garment meets Cambridge’s quality benchmarks.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Keeping a keen eye on garment tests and production reports, you’ll generate insights and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Floor Oversight: You will oversee quality control activities on the factory floor, ensuring that processes are executed according to established standards.
- Defect Management: A crucial aspect of your role involves maintaining a minimum level of outgoing defects percentage, contributing to Cambridge’s reputation for excellence.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in garment quality control.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and techniques.
