Now Hiring: Merchandiser – Towel Division
As a Merchandiser in our Towel Division, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, overseeing production processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong communication channels with buyers and ensuring timely follow-up on orders and requirements.
- Monitoring production line reports daily and maintaining close coordination with Product Development (PD), production, and marketing teams.
- Ensuring that all sampling and running production adhere to customers’ specifications and requirements.
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the quality standards of existing and new orders, including the planning of production and shipments to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrating proficiency in costing and budgeting to optimize production processes and maintain competitive pricing.
- Ensuring on-time deliveries and handling fabric and accessories requisitions, along with other ERP-related matters.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: MBA/BBA/BSc. Textile or relevant field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in terry towel merchandising.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production planning and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of costing and budgeting principles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and related processes.
