Role Overview:
As the Manager Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in managing the procurement of garment accessories, trims, sundries, sewing threads, and pocketing fabric. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely deliveries, cost-efficient buying practices, and maintaining just-in-time inventory levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing relationships with both local and foreign vendors to support our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Procurement of garment accessories, trims, sundries, sewing threads, and pocketing fabric.
- Ensure on-time deliveries and cost-efficient buying practices.
- Maintain just-in-time inventory levels to optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop new local and foreign vendors to expand the supplier base and improve sourcing options.
Qualifications:
- BBA/MBA in Supply Chain Management: A degree in supply chain management or a related field is required to qualify for this role.
Work Experience:
- 10 Years in Relevant Capacity: Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant capacity, demonstrating expertise in supply chain management processes.
Skills:
- Import Processes: Knowledge of import processes and regulations is essential for managing international procurement.
- Government Regulations: Understanding of government regulations related to procurement and import/export processes.
- Vendor Management: Strong vendor management skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing with vendors.
- ERP: Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for inventory management and procurement.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
