Position Overview
As the Manager/Senior Officer in BI & Data Warehouse Development, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data to drive insights, inform strategies, and optimize business performance. Based in Lahore, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of robust business intelligence solutions and data warehousing infrastructure that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient BI solutions and data warehouse architectures. Leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Data Integration and Modeling: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless integration of data from disparate sources into the data warehouse. Design and implement data models that support efficient querying, reporting, and analysis across the organization.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions and data warehouse environments to ensure optimal data retrieval, processing, and storage efficiency. Implement performance tuning techniques and scalability enhancements to support growing data volumes and user requirements.
- Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. Implement robust data quality assurance processes to identify and remediate data anomalies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or related fields, with a strong track record of designing and implementing BI solutions and data warehouse architectures.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, as well as experience with data warehouse technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling techniques are essential.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
