Join Our Team – Manager Reconciliation (Home Textiles)

Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the textile industry? Utopia is looking for a Manager of Reconciliation to efficiently manage and reconcile fabric inventory within our Cut-to-Pack department. If you have experience in inventory management, data reconciliation, and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team!
Job Overview: The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of fabric to ensure a seamless production process. This role involves identifying and resolving discrepancies in fabric inventory and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reconciliation processes and procedures for production-related data, including materials, inventory, and production inputs/outputs.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to identify discrepancies between different data sources and systems.
- Analyze reconciliation data and trends to identify root causes of discrepancies and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in fabric handling and reconciliation.
- Generate and present regular reports on reconciliation results and findings to top management.
- Develop and maintain documentation of reconciliation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of production data.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in supply chain management, textiles, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven expertise in inventory management and reconciliation within the textile manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
