Position Overview: As the Manager of Product Development & Sampling, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brand. You will be responsible for overseeing the development process from conceptualization to final product, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation are met. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product development process from ideation to production, collaborating closely with design, production, and marketing teams.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Manage the sampling process, including fabric selection, pattern development, and prototype creation.
- Oversee the implementation of GGT or similar software to streamline the product development workflow.
- Ensure timely delivery of samples and prototypes, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to source materials and resources.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in product development within the fashion industry, with a proven track record of bringing innovative designs to market.
- Experience implementing GGT or similar software for product development and management.
- Strong understanding of fabric properties, garment construction techniques, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
