💼 About the Role
The Manager Maintenance position is a senior-level role responsible for leading all mechanical maintenance operations at the plant. The role focuses on ensuring high reliability, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to safety standards.
You will oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance, manage outages, coordinate with OEMs, and ensure that plant equipment operates at peak performance.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will:
- Lead and manage mechanical maintenance operations across the plant
- Ensure strict compliance with safety systems, including PSM and DuPont safety frameworks
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Plan and execute plant outages and shutdowns efficiently
- Monitor equipment performance through site surveillance and diagnostics
- Coordinate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for technical support and standards compliance
- Manage maintenance budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX planning
- Ensure compliance with audit, quality, and operational standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and reduce costs
- Develop team capabilities through structured training and development programs
🧠 Technical Expertise Required
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with:
- Large gas turbines, particularly GE Frame 9E
- Steam turbines and related mechanical systems
- Maintenance practices in power plants, fertilizer plants, or petrochemical industries
- Safety and operational excellence frameworks
