Key Responsibilities:

As the Manager/DM Interior Design & Wood Works, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Interior Design Leadership: Lead conceptual and detailed interior design processes, including the creation of mood boards, 2D/3D layouts, color palettes, and furniture arrangements.
• Architectural Drawing & Design: Prepare and review architectural drawings, joinery details, layout plans, lighting, and ceiling designs.
• Woodwork Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of woodwork, including furniture, cabinetry, paneling, partitions, doors, and ceilings.
• Quality Control and Approvals: Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals to ensure the designs align with the required standards.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with carpenters, joiners, and subcontractors for on-site execution and workshop fabrication.
• Project Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines.
• Collaboration with Technical Teams: Collaborate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of technical services with interior designs.
• Cost and Material Management: Prepare and evaluate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for woodwork, furnishings, and finishes. Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials.

Education and Experience Required:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Fine Arts.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience in interior design and woodworks, preferably in the FMCG industry or within a construction project environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, SketchUp, or Revit. Additional certifications in furniture design are a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with AI tools for design enhancement is highly desirable.
