Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, a leading healthcare institution, is hiring a Manager Infection Prevention & Control. This is an essential role responsible for overseeing and implementing hospital-wide strategies and processes that contribute to the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors by ensuring effective infection control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manager Infection Control, you will play a critical role in ensuring the hospital adheres to infection control policies and procedures. Your duties will include:
- Ensuring Compliance: Monitor and enforce infection control policies across hospital departments through audits, structured education, and effective communication.
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Review infection surveillance data and track infection rates across different settings. Ensure that data is recorded accurately and promptly.
- Outbreak Investigation and Management: Investigate any outbreaks, advise on corrective actions, and follow up to ensure that the issue is effectively resolved and does not recur.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the financial budget for the Infection Control Department, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
- Risk Assessment and Strategic Planning: Perform risk assessments to identify priorities and develop a strategic plan for the Infection Control Department.
- Staff Education: Implement infection control educational programs and assess competency for all hospital staff involved in patient care.
- Research and Development: Support research and development to advance patient care and enhance infection control practices.
- Cross-department Coordination: Work closely with hospital management and staff to ensure effective communication and implementation of infection control policies across all departments.
Required Knowledge and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of infection control policies and procedures according to international standards.
- Strong computer skills
