Position: Manager HR Risk & Employee Relations Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Masters in Business Administration from a reputable university.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience working in various functions of HR, with at least 4 years in the following areas:
- Employee Relations and Industrial Relations (IR)
- People Risk Management
- People Services & Compliance
- Policies and Procedures
Overall Responsibilities:
As the Manager HR Risk & Employee Relations at Engro Corporation, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing and mitigating employee-related risks while ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Developing strategies and programs that enhance employee relations and minimize HR-related risks.
- Monitoring and managing statutory regulations, government regulatory departments, court cases, litigations, arbitrations, and contractor structures, with a focus on risk prevention, collective bargaining, industrial peace, and dispute resolution.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and providing guidance to HR and management teams.
- Assessing and interpreting the impact of government laws and regulations and providing strategic guidance to avoid potential risks.
- Conducting proactive audits and sharing potential observations for corrective and preventive action plans.
- Reviewing and updating employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
- Monitoring day-to-day labor issues within the Engro group and advising subsidiary IR teams to maintain peaceful labor relations and create a harmonious working environment.
- Supporting Engro’s businesses, management, and officials in the development, application, and interpretation of labor relations policies and practices.
- Providing real-time solutions and strategic guidelines for dealing with permanent, contractual, and service provider HR matters.
- Monitoring and addressing legal compliance issues to ensure the organization complies with local and national laws, such as recruitment, diversity, data protection, and employee contracts.
- Ensuring the timely and secure storage of HR documents in accordance with legal requirements.
