We are currently seeking a dynamic corporate professional to join our team on a contract basis in the role of Manager Health Safety & Environment.
Position Criteria:
- Masters in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or Environmental Science.
- International certification in the same discipline will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
Job Responsibilities: As the Manager Health Safety & Environment, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing, reviewing, updating, implementing, monitoring, and auditing Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs/policies.
- Developing and implementing HSE Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conducting regular hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Monitoring and implementing ISO Certifications related to HSE.
- Maintaining records of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
- Identifying and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including those of the Government Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other relevant laws.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly performance reports on Facility Management Programs and EHS compliance status.
- Conducting HSE investigations and analyzing accidents/incidents to identify trends and suggest improvement measures/plans.
- Implementing Safety Coordination Programs and organizing in-house safety trainings.
- Organizing and participating in Annual Risk Analysis and Hazard Valuation Assessment Exercises.
