Position: Lead Custom & EFS
Responsibilities:
As the Lead Custom & EFS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our custom department and compliance with export facilities schemes. Here’s an overview of your responsibilities:
- Support in custom regulatory matters and export facilities scheme implementation.
- Monitor day-to-day issues related to customs operations and ensure timely resolution.
- Reconcile EFS with SAP and FGS data, producing half-yearly reconciliation statements in the WEBOC system.
- Handle issues related to indirect export approval from the customs collectorate and IOCO.
- Maintain a deep understanding of international trade regulations, including custom laws, HS Codes, Pakistan custom tariff, sanctions, embargoes, SROs, valuation rulings, and import/export laws & regulations.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Supply Chain Management from a reputable university.
- Well-versed with import and export-related laws and regulations.
- Good written communication skills, negotiation abilities, and exposure to SAP working environment are preferred.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in the same domain, preferably in large import/export-oriented industries.
- Deep understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
Location:
The position is based in the SITE Area, Karachi, Pakistan.
