Position Overview: As an Officer in Information Security Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to information security standards and regulatory requirements across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify and mitigate security risks, implement controls, and promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and gap analysis to identify vulnerabilities and areas of non-compliance, recommending appropriate remediation measures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and mechanisms to protect sensitive information and mitigate cyber threats.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of security incidents and breaches, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on security-related matters, raising awareness and promoting adherence to security policies and protocols.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory developments, proactively updating security measures and controls to address evolving risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate to 1 year of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management.
- Knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Familiarity with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
