Job Overview:
Utopia Industries (Private), Ltd. is in search of a dedicated and strategic-minded General Manager – Human Resources to lead and optimize HR functions within the home textile production segment. As the GM-HR, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure that our human resources align with our strategic objectives and contribute to the success of our home textile business.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop HR strategies that align with the organizational goals for success in textile production.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent in the industry, working closely with department heads.
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture, manage employee relations, and address grievances to maintain a productive workforce.
- Implement performance systems to enhance the productivity and performance of production employees.
- Identify training needs, plan development programs, and monitor the growth of the workforce.
- Ensure that HR practices adhere to labor laws and industry standards.
- Optimize HR budget management to achieve exceptional results.
- Foster productive relationships with unions and labor representatives.
- Utilize HR analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in the Home Textile Industry. (Candidates applying from the Top 10 textile exporters in Pakistan will be preferred).
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR management within the textile industry, with a deep understanding of production processes.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis.
