About Us: National Logistics Corporation (NLC), the premier multimodal logistics & construction organization of Pakistan, invites dynamic corporate professionals to join our team. We are currently looking for a dedicated General Manager Audit to work on a contract basis at our location in Rawalpindi.
Position Criteria:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12 years of experience OR
- Master’s degree in Finance and Accounts with 18 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a similar role.
- Experience in a large public/listed company, construction, and logistics industry is preferred.
- Retired officer from Grade-20/19 of Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR) will be given preference.
- Age limit may not exceed 62 years.
Job Responsibilities: As the General Manager Audit at NLC, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overall supervision of Internal audit, Pre-audit & PAC Section.
- Overseeing the effectiveness of internal/Pre-audit tools.
- Reviewing and settling internal audit objections.
- Reviewing replies to commercial audit Paras.
- Reviewing internal audit reports for categorization.
- Liaison with Commercial Audit & Evaluation officials regarding audit matters.
- Providing training to NLC employees on audit matters.
- Offering guidance to internal/pre-audit sections.
- Advising NLC higher management on Government Rules & regulations.
- Formulating audit-related SOPs.
- Advising and vetting contract agreements.
- Formulating audit plans.
- Preparing for DAC/PAC meetings.
