Job Description:
As a Fashion Merchandiser at CAMBRIDGER, you will be at the forefront of product development and market research. Here’s a glimpse into what you’ll be doing:
- Assist Category Head: Collaborate with the Category Head to develop a diverse and appealing product mix that resonates with our target market.
- Stay Updated with Trends: Keep abreast of the latest fashion trends, consumer behaviors, and demographic insights to inform product decisions.
- Assortment Planning: Prepare comprehensive assortment plans based on market research, ensuring that upcoming launches align with consumer preferences.
- Coordinate with Design and Fabrication: Work closely with the Design Studio and Fabrication team to bring product concepts to life, ensuring alignment with themes and research and development (R&D) initiatives.
- Fabric Analysis: Analyze fabric requirements based on seasonal directions from the Design team, providing insights and recommendations for optimal sourcing.
- Calendar Management: Maintain the fabric development calendar and adhere to seasonal deadlines to ensure timely product launches.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Partner with the Marketing department to define product concepts, finalize advertising requirements, and plan impactful campaigns.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of proven experience in fashion merchandising.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the latest fashion trends and developments.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
