A multinational textile company is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as an Export Facilitation Scheme Lead (EFS) in Karachi. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in navigating the complexities of international trade and ensuring compliance with export facilitation schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conversant with Import/Export Procedures: As the EFS Lead, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of import/export procedures and laws specific to Pakistan. This includes staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Knowledge of International Trade: A comprehensive understanding of international trade dynamics is essential. You will be responsible for overseeing export facilitation schemes and optimizing processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Development of Process Frameworks: One of the primary responsibilities of the EFS Lead is to develop and refine process frameworks related to export facilitation schemes. This involves streamlining procedures, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
- Effective Coordination with Stakeholders: Successful execution of export facilitation schemes requires seamless coordination with various stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and internal departments. The EFS Lead will serve as the focal point for communication and collaboration among these parties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in DTRE (Duty and Tax Remission for Export) / EOU (Export Oriented Unit) / EFS (Export Facilitation Scheme) operations within the manufacturing industry.
