Position Overview:
As the Executive Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of sustainable practices within our operations. With one position available, this role demands a candidate with a robust background in Environmental or Chemical Sciences, coupled with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Issuance of Work Permits and Work Monitoring: Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the issuance of work permits and monitoring work in progress. This critical task ensures the safety of our workforce and timely project completion. Your meticulous approach to documentation will be instrumental in maintaining a comprehensive record of all activities.
Audits and Compliance: As an integral part of the team, you will actively participate in both internal and external audits. Your keen attention to detail will ensure that our operations comply with industry standards and regulations.
Data Collection and Target Development: Collaboration is key. You will work closely with various departments to collect data on energy, water, and waste. Using this information, you will then develop reduction targets to enhance our sustainability efforts.
Employee Safety and Compliance: The well-being of our employees is a top priority. You will enforce the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols.
Environmental Testing: Adhering to legal requirements, you will oversee and ensure the completion of environmental testing. This ensures that our operations meet all necessary environmental standards.
Ideal Profile:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- B.Sc in Environmental Sciences or Chemical Sciences.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
