Position Summary:
Style Textile is currently hiring for the role of Executive-Merchandising. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of product development and procurement processes within the organization. The Executive-Merchandising will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely availability of materials and accurate data management, supporting the company’s mission to provide high-quality, sustainable textiles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to various yarns and fabrics to support product development and costing.
• Database Management: Maintain and update fabric and yarn databases, ensuring clean, accurate, and accessible records for internal teams.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, sustainability, planning, and procurement to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and alignment with production timelines.
• Vendor Liaison: Liaise with external customers and vendors for approvals and follow-ups related to trims, fabrics, lab dips, and sustainable materials.
• Advanced Excel Usage: Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting) to generate actionable insights and streamline reporting.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on fabric performance, sustainability KPIs, and order progress.

Requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience, particularly in data analysis and reporting within the textile industry.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Excel, especially advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and conditional formatting.
  • Strong coordination skills to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.
