Qarshi Industries (PVT.) Ltd., a leader in the food and medicine industry, is seeking a Deputy Manager for Quality Assurance to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality control and assurance, with the ability to drive improvements in product quality and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Deputy Manager of Quality Assurance, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations are in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Oversee QA activities such as documentation review, internal audits, and risk assessments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the QC, Production, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at improving product quality and overall process efficiency.
- In-Process Testing: Perform and record in-process tests, ensuring all data is accurate and aligned with GMP standards.
- Sanitation and Disinfection: Ensure the proper sanitation, disinfection, and fumigation processes are followed across all relevant areas.
- Batch Release: Verify the printing of batch details on packaging and ensure timely release of production batches by coordinating with the dispatch team.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this role, the candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Pharm-D is required.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry, with at least 5 years of experience in the Quality Control (QC) domain and a current role or recent transition into Quality Assurance (QA).
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Familiarity with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), regulatory compliance, and documentation standards.
- Experience leading audits, handling deviations, and managing CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead QA activities, execute quality systems, and handle deviations in a pharmaceutical or food production environment.
