Position: Deputy Manager (Shipping & Dispatch) As Deputy Manager (Shipping & Dispatch) at NISHAT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient shipment of orders within prescribed timelines and as per customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to coordinate the dispatch process seamlessly.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage the shipment of orders within prescribed timelines and according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders involved in the shipment process.
- Track, trace, and provide timely updates on the dispatch status of orders.
- Oversee material transfers within the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the finance team for the payment of contractors involved in material movement within the company.
Key Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 06-08 years of hands-on experience in shipping and dispatch management.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
